Get To Know Your Sewing Machine

We welcome back Jane Ritchie to teach this useful class. Bring your own sewing machine and discover new features and trouble shoot any issues you may have.
Jane has used many makes of machines and can help you with issues such as tension problems, threading, stitches and foot choices. Suitable for all levels.
Tuesday 14th July
Convergence Block Class

On this class, Carol will guide you through the process of 'convergence' techniques. You will turn four simple squares into a fascinating grid effect.
A knowledge of rotary cutting is required. This class will use your sewing machine and is not suitable for hand sewing.

Exploding Stars Block
with Sophie Brettell

Use up your scrap ‘strings’ by making this Exploding Stars block - either as a square or rectangle.
You’ll sew onto paper to help keep any stretch or bias under control. Just pick a colour for the star’s centre and add any colour of scrap - the more the merrier!

If you love colour, this is the class for you! Join us to convert fabric strips into a beautiful piece. The project can be an introduction to a quilt or a beautiful cushion/bag panel. There will be some prep required before the class.
