The Dresden Plate Cushion has been designed exclusively by Just Quilting.
 
This classic design features a flower head style block made up of 20 or more ‘blades’ arranged around a central circle.
 
The motif is usually appliquéd onto a background block and, due to its small units, is perfect for using up fabric scraps.
 
For this design, we have chosen a selection of vibrant, contemporary fabrics in co-ordinating shades to create a harmonic blend.
 
This kit is suitable for a confident beginner/intermediate.
 
This kit contains:
20 contrasting/toning fabrics for the blades
One 22" x 22" square of background fabric
One 6" square of background fabric for the inner circle
One 6" square of ‘sew-In’ interfacing
One 6" square of template plastic
One 24" square of fabric for the cushion back
One 24" zip
 
You will need to provide:
One 24" square of wadding
Neutral coloured thread for joining the pieces
A cushion pad to fit the finished cushion
 
Finished size: approximately 20" x 20".
