These cute little Bitsy Bags have been designed exclusively by Just Quilting and are the perfect way to use up fabrics from your stash.
Our sample uses fabrics from the Foraged, Found & Hand Me Down range by Fancy That Design House & Co. for Moda Fabrics.
We have included instructions to make the bag using three different piecing designs. All the bags are constructed in the same way once pieced.
Requirements:
Hexagon version:
- (40) 1" hexagon paper shapes (template sheet included)
- (40) 2½" fabric square in various patterns
Triangle version:
- (36) full triangles & (8) half triangles (template sheet included)
- Various 2½" fabric squares
Strip version:
- (11) 1½" x 9½" fabric strips
All versions:
- Backing fabric – (1) 10½" x 8½" contrasting fabric
- Lining – (2) 10½" x 8½" pieces
- Casing – (2) 19½" x 2" strips
- Ties – 1.5m of cord or ribbon to match
- Thread to match your fabrics
Finished size: approximately 8" x 10".
